All quotations are free and there is no obligation to proceed with any of the work that has been quoted for.

In addition we are happy to discuss any requirements and provide some advice over the phone.
We always ask that you to check to make sure your tree(s) are not under a TPO (Tree Preservation Order) or fall in a Conservation Area.
For a small administration fee, we can make an application to the Council on your behalf to check against a TPO or Conservation Order. We will be deduct this charge if the work is carried out with us. Alternatively, you can make the application yourself and we will carry out the work once permission has been granted.
As with any maintenance work there is a slight risk. Where needed or if requested, we can place clean boarding on lawns and plastic sheeting over shrub beds to protect them. There might be some additional costs involved.
If there is extreme weather and we feel that this would compromise our ability to undertake the work to our usual high standards we would discuss postponing the work.
We take all the waste away and sites are left to an extremely high standard of tidiness.
We can leave any wood chips which are suitable for garden use at your request. We can also ring and stack wood which is suitable as firewood.
If a tree is healthy and only requires either pruning, crown reduction or lifting, we suggest that this is undertaken either after leaf fall in the autumn or before bud burst in spring. If the tree is to be removed to ground level or if it is hedge cutting then this can be done at any time of the year.
Regular maintenance, designed to promote plant health and vigour, ensures that they continue to thrive. Maintenance also most importantly, prevents any hazardous environments and safety risks from loose/fractured boughs which would be picked up on inspection.
Regular tree inspections can prevent or reduce the severity of any future disease(s), insect or environmental problems. Our qualified arborist will examine buds, leaf size, appearance, twig growth, and note the condition of the truck and crown.
Crown die-back (gradual death of the upper part of the tree) and trunk decay are often symptoms of other problems that began earlier. Early diagnosis can be vital in preventing intensive tree work and save on potential expensive and avoidable costs to remedy the situation. We like to say, 'prevention is better than a cure!'
All works are carried out in compliance of Health & Safety Laws and all equipment used is of the highest standard (passing all safety inspections).
Every job also has an individual Risk Assessment report.
Method Statements can also be completed if you require which outlines how the work will be undertaken.
We hold public liability insurance (£10 million). This also provides cover for any member of staff working for Brookmans Park Tree Surgery.
