Conrad Crawley

Managing Director

Conrad graduated from The Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester with a BSc (Hons) MArborA in Horticulture and Landscape Construction.
Whilst being at university he found himself drawn to rock climbing, which always helps when tree-climbing! He then specialised in Arboriculture.
Over the years he has worked in New Zealand, Essex, London and is now based in Hertfordshire.
He established Brookmans Park Tree Surgery in 2009 and within a very short period of time had an extremely experienced team on board who bought with them many years of Arboricultural experience and knowledge - adhering to the British Standards of Tree Works (BS3998).

Alex

Team Manager / Head Climber

Alex qualified in 2007 with a National Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture.
He spent his first years gaining extensive experience with London based companies, being promoted to head climber by the age of 19 and line managing six team members.
In 2010, he left England to gain experience in Australia and New Zealand. There, he worked on enormous trees, compared to ours at home, and in extreme conditions and environments.
Alex joined us in 2015 and has proved to be an essential and invaluable team leader at BPTS bringing with him invaluable skills.

Paul

Lead Climber

Paul qualified in 2007 with a National Certificate in Forestry & Arboriculture.
He first worked with Alex, our head climber in 2013.

Having previously been selected for some very important projects, with various organisations, his knowledge is second to none. Therefore, we were delighted to have him join our team.

His true passion is sound engineering which has seen him travel all over the world.
Tyler is now settled back in the UK and was looking to start in a new field that incorporated his love of the outdoors.
He is striving to become a fully qualified climber with us in the very near future.

Debbie

Trainee

After graduating from UCL in 2005 with a BSc (Hons) in Physical Geography,
Debbie decided to go into teaching and has a PGCE in Secondary Education. It took a little over 10 years before she realised teaching wasn’t fulfilling any more.
Since leaving full time teaching in 2017, she has passed her Level 2 in Forestry and Arboriculture, as well as her chainsaw, felling trees and tree climbing tickets. She also has gained her Professional Tree Inspection Certificate.
Debbie is planning to study for her MSc in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry.
She brings a different dynamic to the team due to her knowledge of the inspection process.
